OTM Fight Shop Under New Ownership
NMF received some emails regarding the status of OTM Fight Shop; some rumors in the
air were that OTM was closing, and a new owner was being sought after. Well as of
May 22, 2009 OTM Fight Shop was acquired. NMF caught up with new OTM owner Mr. David
McDowell. Mr. McDowell acquired OTM from Aaron “Stitch” Cantwell on May 22, 2009.
Mr. McDowell has been a resident of New Mexico since 1989, and after 17 years in the car business decided it was time for a new endeavor. McDowell along with wife Sherri and their 3 kids made the transition to owning OTM.
When asked about what prompted the purchase McDowell stated “It is definitely a hobby and a new desire, I am involved in Kick Boxing and Jiu Jitsu and this fits well”.
McDowell stated that he has a few goals for OTM as well; “First and Foremost we will take care of our customers, 2nd we will take of the fighters and 3rd we will be more involved.”
With that being said OTM is still open and will remain open, Mr. McDowell also opened up the phone and mentioned that if anyone has any concerns or questions feel free to give him a call. On staff at OTM will be Mr. McDowell and His Wife Sherri along with John Abarca.
Below is OTM Fight Shop Contact Information.
